Injection moulding
Our moulding plant includes a wide range of presses up to Engel 1500t 3k, suitable for the largest outer lenses and bezels
Presses are dedicated by material to ensure optical quality, supported with robot handling, laser de-gating and material control systems
Finishing
We vacuum metallise in house, using innovative 3-D printed masks to enable precise & intricate designs
Outer lenses are hard-coated in our clean room facility with annealing, robot handling and UV-curing directly linked to the injection moulding plant
Joining & welding
Lamp bonding technologies are selected to suit product geometry and project volumes
We offer our customers a full range of options including Laser, Vibration, Ultrasonic and IR (non-contact) welding, together with 5 axis adhesive bonding robots
Advanced manufacturing
A range of advanced manufacturing technologies are available to suit lifetime volumes anywhere between 100 and 100,000 vehicles
Our production experience includes using 3-D printing, Carbon, CNC and Rapid tooling systems
Assembly plant
Our flexible assembly lines can be adapted to suite a range of project volumes
We build in a clean environment, supporting our carefully trained operator team with detailed process controls and ESD protection
Measurement & inspection
The Wipac Technology metrology department is fully equipped with a range of CMM machines and laser scanning technologies
